Hot Tea Month 2018 – 2 January – Sharing love through tea! Yes –It is a new year, and Tea-For-All is adding a Pay it Forward component to online and local sales from Studio B Bakery and Bistro in Trenton, NJ. Each quarter, a new program or organization will be the beneficiary of a portion of total sales in specific tea categories. Our first quarter beneficiary is “Loaves and Fishes” operating a weekly feeding and social support program from Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

Loaves and Fishes program description:
During January 2014 when temperatures plummeted to the single digits, as they are now, a small team of parishioners, opened the Cathedral doors once per week (each Friday) to offer a safe warm space, and a nutritious lunch to anyone who wanted to come in from the cold and have a bite to eat. On any given Friday they will serve 30-50. Generous donations and fundraising activities such as the Battle Against Hunger Bicycle Ride and The Soles for the Harvest Walk/5k Run. In addition, Loaves and Fishes recently earned a grant from the by Jubilee Ministries of The Episcopal Diocese of NJ. There are no paid staff volunteers provide all shopping, food preparation, service and hospitality.
The volunteers like to believe that just important as the nutritious meal, are the smiles. Being a part of this, each week, there are exchanges of pleasantries, expressions of concern and comfort when needed. The coffee and tea are always on and we see extra smiles on days when I say – “yes that is Tea-For-All tea”!
Paying it forward details:
Tea-For-All selects a charity, organization or program each quarter. We assign specific teas as pay it forward teas, each month. Tea-For-All donates $1 for each item purchased as listed below either through our website or at Studio B Bakery and Bistro during the month of January.
January Pay it forward Teas: Purchase 1 or several
- 3.5-ounce bag of Earl Grey Black
- 30 grams Umi Matcha Prima
- 1-ounce bag of Premium Aged Oolong
- 3-ounce bag of Pu-erh mini toucha
- 3-ounce bag of Hot and Spicy Tisane
- 1-ounce Japanese whole leaf white tea first flush
Hence, it is Hot Tea Month 2018 and we are Sharing love through tea!
