Description
Panyang Congou Black Tea – A Colonial Tea from Fujian, China
Panyang Congou Black Tea – A Colonial Tea from Fujian, China. This tea gets its name as an abomination of Gongfu which is the Chinese term for carefully done with skill. Quite fitting in this case as there is very little leaf breakage in this tippy black tea, indicating that the preparation for oxidation was done with care.
It is a perfect morning tea. Drink it every day. It is bold enough to take milk but very palatable on its own.
One of the teas enjoyed in Colonial America that ended up underwater during the Boston Tea Party. It is truly a revolutionary tea!
