Premium Hawaiian Volcano Green

Description

This tea was grown under a canopy of Koa Trees at an elevation of about 4,000 feet in Volcano Village, near the Kilauea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The taste is heavenly. The aroma is tantalizing.

This tea is harvested by plucking the top bud and two leaves. The leaves are long and whole. It brews into a rich, wonderfully clear infusion. The flavor is floral and sweet, deeply satisfying and comforting.

And the leaves… oh the leaves – Best brewed gongfu or gaiwan style. I haven’t tried grandpa style, but think it would work. Did we mention how beautiful the leaves are and how fragrant the aroma and sweet the taste?
