When shopping for dark tea, consider these Pu’erh Tuo Cha hearts- Classic dark tea with rose and vanilla. The shou pu’erh offers an aromatic essence of vanilla. This tea presents you with a unique flavor experience. It has earthy notes, which help give you a feeling of being grounded when drinking this tea, but the vanilla and rose offer a pleasant balance to earthiness, with no bitterness.
Brewing: Each piece yields 1-2 cups of tea. You can brew this for a short 1-2 minutes or longer at 195°F. Always give a short rinse to pu’erh and throw away that water. The first brew will show off an amber liquor with the pu’erh, the vanilla, and the rose playing an equal part. The second brewing is more honey-colored, giving way to the taste of rose.
There are approximately 7 Pu’erh Tuo Cha hearts in each ounce. This tea provides multiple brews (we stopped at 3, but there’s much more life in that tea) making it a great value in addition to being a tasty tea.
